The Orbit is a revolutionary new product, designed to wash clothes without actually using any water. Here's how it works: The Orbit uses dry ice instead of water to evaporate into gas and perform a pressurized blast to lift the dirt off your clothes. Then, there is a chemical reaction with carbon dioxide and the grease from the clothes that spins the grease off. Finally, the gas is sucked back up and returns to a solid. The stains and dirt removed from your clothes is filtered through a tube that can easily be cleaned.
Although this is just in the beginning phases, there has been discussion about how efficient this process will be. One con to this would be that the machine may not be sensitive to delicate laundry. Also, although it is saving water, it may use a lot of energy (batteries). This will not be released for about a decade, if at all. However, technology has proven to be quite advanced with this machine.
