Myspace was first used to showcase new artists and was set up to Soundcloud today. Users are able to comment on the page, and the artist can post updates. There also is an opportunity for musicians to have their music play, and sometimes users can download the music for free. With the rise of Facebook in 2010, and the decline of Myspace, this is not a popular social media platform for artists and fans. Justin Timberlake recently bought Myspace.
